Daruma — Health & Pharmacy (Figma concept)

High-fidelity Persian RTL mobile UI for Daruma—a health and pharmacy concept covering OTP login (phone or email), home hub with medical profile prompts, medicine tracking, a marketplace with donation banner and order tracking, and rich product detail with cart controls. Intended for React Native; work remained at the Figma design stage and is not proceeding for now—no shipped codebase.

Historical case study

This page documents work delivered in the past. The product is not actively maintained today, and links may be outdated. It is here as a portfolio reference only — not an invitation to download or use the app.

Role: UI/UX designer (Figma)

Duration: Design phase (paused; no implementation)

Challenge

Iranian pharmacy-adjacent products must balance regulation-sensitive trust signals with consumer-ecommerce patterns: OTP trust, medical profile completeness without intimidation, and donation messaging that reads sincere—not promotional noise.

Solution

Produced a coherent five-screen narrative in Figma: auth → verify → personalized hub → marketplace/donation → PDP with sticky commerce. Repeated teal/green system, illustration accents, and RTL layout rhythm so engineering could later map 1:1 into React Native components.

Impact

No public launch or app metrics—value is a documented product direction and reusable UI patterns for health marketplaces. The startup paused before build; screens remain a portfolio reference for vision and craft.

Project overview

Daruma (داروما) was conceived as an Iranian health and pharmacy companion for mobile: RTL-first UI, medical-adjacent visuals, and flows spanning authentication, a personalized home hub, medicine commerce, and community-oriented features like medicine donation.

Scope of this portfolio entry: work stopped at high-fidelity UI design in Figma. A React Native implementation was the intended engineering direction, but no production app was built and the initiative is not currently planned to continue—this page documents the product vision and screen design only.

What the design explored

  • Authentication — welcome state with shield/medical branding; tabbed login via mobile number or email; validated phone entry and “send code” primary action; companion illustration for reassurance.
  • OTP verification — dedicated verify screen with segmented code entry, editable phone line, and confirm CTA.
  • Home / health hub — greeting with location context (e.g. Tehran), shortcuts (e.g. scan/location), search, medical profile completion card with edit CTA, services entry points (nutrition, medicine), and medication adherence messaging with actions to log intake or add a new medicine.
  • Marketplace & social impactmedicine donation hero banner, product grid with pricing placeholders, delivery story module with order tracking, and quick access to medicine, support, and laboratory-style services above navigation.
  • Product detail — hero imagery, favorites/menu affordances, narrative “review” copy block, technical specifications section, and a sticky purchase bar with quantity stepper and basket affordance.
  • Navigation model — bottom navigation with a prominent central action, consistent with consumer health apps.

Technical intent (not delivered in code)

The roadmap called for React Native on iOS/Android with a service-backed catalog, OTP delivery, and order state—typical of pharmacy marketplaces. None of that runtime stack was completed in this engagement; artifacts are design screens and flows only.

Daruma is not an active downloadable product from this portfolio. Do not treat screenshots as a live app store listing.
