Role: Full-stack developer

Duration: Multi-phase delivery

Challenge

Avagostar needed more than a marketing site: a single operational stack for an Iranian ISP selling wireless, ADSL2+, and TD-LTE services. Subscribers had to buy and renew plans, purchase extra traffic, use Avagig hourly bundles, and manage accounts online—while staff needed CRM tooling for subscribers, installs, billing, and support without scattered spreadsheets.

Solution

Delivered a PHP-based customer website and back-office CRM connected through shared business logic and APIs. The subscriber area covered plan catalog and checkout, traffic purchases, Avagig hourly products, invoices and payment status, service activation, and support tickets. A React Native codebase shipped native Android and iOS apps with the same core flows. Internal panels gave operations sales, provisioning, and support role-based access to subscriber records and service lifecycle.

Impact

Unified subscriber self-service and staff operations on one platform—reducing manual follow-ups for renewals, traffic add-ons, and ticket handling during active ISP operations. Mobile apps extended the same capabilities beyond the desktop portal for on-the-go customers.

Project overview

Avagostar Sarv Co. Ltd. was a Tehran-based Internet service provider (early 2000s–2010s) offering wireless, ADSL2+, and later TD-LTE services. The public brand lived at avagostar.net.

What we built

  • Customer web portal (PHP) — browse and buy internet packages, purchase extra traffic, Avagig hourly plans, invoices and payments, support tickets, profile and service status.
  • Internal CRM (PHP) — subscriber 360° view, provisioning, billing, install scheduling, role-based sales and support workflows.
  • Mobile apps (React Native) — Android and iOS with login, plans, traffic top-ups, Avagig, billing, and support on the same backend APIs.

Technical approach

Server-rendered PHP with MySQL, jQuery on the web front end, REST endpoints for React Native, deployed on Linux infrastructure typical for Iranian ISP operations.

The business is no longer active and avagostar.net is offline. This entry preserves the delivered product as a historical case study.
